Foss Science Stories
The FOSS Science kits come with books to go along with each lesson. This week we looked at the magnetism and electricity book.

These books offer stories that students can read and understand the subject on a more relaxed level. These books also offer other activities for students to try on their own, along with other journal articles for them to read.
Review Activities
We also began reviewing for our own test, but we did this by using activities we could use in our future classrooms.
One way was writing a question on a note card, then students hand them back to the teacher and the class answers them.

Other helpful materials/ Lessons learned
- Quizlet is a great resource for students who are trying to find new ways to study. Teachers can setup their own activities for their class, or students can search for ones previously made by other people.
- A great resource for teachers to find lesson plans and activites is Pinterest. You can search for specific topics and activities and find plenty of usable options.
- Another great resource is JeopardyLabs. It removes the headaches of powerpoint setup and can be used when a Promethean board is not available. Students can also access this if they want to study on their own after the game is played in class.
